We love our Ocean and Spectacular Archipelago on the Swedish West Coast. Boating consumes a lot of energy compared to road going vehicles, hence we believe it is important to get the marine electrification going ASAP. In fact, Swedish leisure boats emits an equal amount of cO2 annually as all domestic flights despite the short boating season.
Fumes and pollution from boats is concentrated where it hurts the most, the coastal bredingground for marine life.
Not only are we the first commercial leisure boat operator that purely operate 100% Electric boats on the Swedish West Coast, we also use biocide-free antifouling paint.

About us
At Marstrand Elbåt AB we believe that all our visitors on the Swedish west coast deserve to experience our amazing coast the same way the locals has been enjoying it for generations.
We do also believe that it is about time that green transition and electrification start to gain traction within the leisure boating sector. As with all transitions the costs and hurdles for early movers can be difficult to cope with, in this specific case due to high initial costs and limited annual usage. We are convinced that commercial players need to lead the way and create the demand for charging infrastructure and prove that EVs are just as suitable on water as on road, Electric Vessels that is!
